Dwayne Ray Cormier, Ph.D., is the CEO and Founder of CRS, LLC d/b/a VSorts™. He is a visionary leader with a wealth of expertise stemming from his experiences as a non-profit executive director, middle school science teacher, and assistant professor at a Research 1 University. Dwayne has obtained three degrees from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs): Edward Waters College, where he earned a BA in Psychology; Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he earned an M.Ed in Sports and Leisure Management; and Xavier University of Louisiana, where he earned a MAT in Middle School Science and Mild to Moderate Special Education. Dr. Cormier concluded his formal education by earning a doctorate at the Pennsylvania State University in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Curriculum and Supervision. With this vast and diverse background, he brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the field of cultural competence and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) awareness, making him an expert in the field.
